Banking question

I read on the forums about ING and Emigrant bank, but does anyone have anything good/bad to say about HSBC as far as for CD rates and savings/checking?

The cliff note version:

Pros: Superior rates, minimal customer complaints, branches located in some areas in U.S and worldwide.
Cons: Relatively slow sign-up process (4-6 days to receive materials in the mail), relatively slow fund transfers in and out (3-4 days).
