2% cash back on 10/26 from Discover on all purchases that day. Just a heads up in case any other Discover holder had any purchasing plans.

My husband will be having an elective surgery that insurance doesn't cover. It has to be paid in full before the surgery next week. I will be paying the $3997 on 10/26 to take advantage of the 2%. Got to love cash back on something you have to pay for anyways!

Discover pays me an average of $300/yr in cashback bonuses. I never carry a balance.

To be honest I have never looked at other rewards cards. I have had the Discover and my Platinum rewards card thru the credit union of for 20 years.
