Being on disability and your credit score really aren't related per say. What is your specific issue?

When the Mrs. and I went house hunting a couple years ago, she was so pissed when I had a fico score over 800 while hers was 'only' 760+ and I had not had a steady job in 8 years. It is all about how you handle the money and credit you do have. I paid all my bills, yadda,yadda,yadda.

ps, 2 years later when an old mistake on state taxes fell off her record, her score rocketed past mine to near 850.
