Wow, i just checked my money magazine and Fidelity has dropped their loads on all but their advisor funds. The contrafund has done great!

Last year, Consumer Reports picked the Contrafund as one of their best funds for 2005. Guess what, it did AWESOME in 2005. I think I made somewhere around 11% or so.

I ended up going with T Rowe Price, and investing in one their blended fund investments. I was thinking about just doing an index fund, but decided to give this a try. I went with them for a couple reasons: 1) a minimum that works for me (I couldn't wait to build up money, since I want to make a 2005 contribution to qualify for a tax credit) ... 2) no loads, low fees

Thanks for all the imput. I'm going to monitor and see how things go over the course of 2006. I may end up changing the investment, or just changing where future contributions go. For now I'll wait and see

I continue to have my Trad IRA with Janus. I was contemplating severing my relationship with Janus, however, with the returns from Janus Core Equity (JAEIX) and Janus Growth and Income (JAGIX), I'm finding that it is worth riding out the post-scandal debauched environment.
