I want to make a strong budget and start putting away more money for savings, after we may all of our bills we have about 2100 left over for the month, I love to shop and now I have come to my senses we need to put more back for savings!!!, with the 2100 a month we still have to pay for gas for him to go to work, and we eat out alot, right now I just put 400 a month away, In reality how much should I try to stash away for savings, we also have almost 9000 in credit card debt!

The simple answer to how much should you save is 20%. 15% for retirement and 5% for other stuff. But the details of your situation will allow us to give much better advice.
