  • Walgreen's Gift Card ?

I am getting close to being able to redeem points (add my to points) for a $50 gift card. I'm debating between Amazon, Walmart and Walgreens. Walmart costs the most of the three (by 100 points) but I could use it for groceries and put the money from the grocery budget to the EF. If I got the Amazon card, I know I'd spend it all on books for the school's library (probably could get 10 books or so, depending on the books) and no money would go to the EF (since I now only buy books when I have gift cards.) The Walgreens card is the least expensive of the three - I'd come out a minimum of 350 points ahead by buying it ... but the main thing I'd like to buy with it is OTC medicine. I know you can't use it to pay for prescriptions, but I can't find anything that says whether or not you can use it for OTC products. If I can, then the $50 I'd normally spend on OTC allergy meds would instead go to the EF.

So .... after my long winded intro, can anyone tell me whether or not I could use a WG gift card to purchase my OTC allergy meds?

    Thanks!

I think you answered the question for yourself; the Walgreens giftcard.

Oh, I thought you were asking which card to get. I would call your local Walgreens....

Yes you can use the WAG gift card to buy OTC medicines. Also other things you might want, use, need such as tooth paste & brushes, soap, shampoo, deoterant, cleaning supplies....

Advantage of the listed items is most have coupons and sometimes give Register Rewards (which also can be used to buy other items).
