Starbucks is not a need I have ever had, but I don't drink coffee of any kind. :P I am pretty partial to books... in fact, before I go to work this evening I'm heading by Barnes & Noble first. I really need to invest in a Nook.

3 visits (short end of the stick) to Starbucks a week = $10 a week NOT including times you buy an extra muffin or piece of carrot cake:P
= $40/month
= $480 a year on coffee alone (low end number again)
And this is just ONE expense that most of us feel we NEED

True!
Sorry that came out wrong:P I meant for the coffee drinkers, it's an expense they feel they need, but in actual fact it would save them quite a bit of money per year just to stop the habit.
