  • Will

It looks like its pretty easy to get a free will write it up and then have it signed by a notary.

My question - do you keep the will anywhere, how does it become a public record, I mean if I die how does my beneficiary know that they get the money?

Does the will have to reside in a public place or something?

    THanks

Good question. . .I hope someone with knowledge chimes in but I think that is the process of "Probate Court" - making the Will "public record" and having it certified by a court (with orders).

Not sure but I think that's how it works, with the usual disclaimers that it will vary from state to state.
