  • Credit Cards and Bank Accounts

I have a stupid question and I searched but I couldn't find the answer. I have a BofA credit card and a BofA checking/savings account. I want to close the credit card because they are playing games I don't want to play. I will still pay the monthly payments. As long as I am making the payments can/will they come after my checking/savings account or is that money safe? I hope this makes sense. Thank you.

No, the credit card company can't touch your checking account (even if they are both with BoA). One has nothing to do with the other.
