Hey everyone! I'm currently 22 years old and am a college graduate (BS in finance). I am working my first "real" job on a temporary-to-hire basis as an auditor. Overall I like my job and in about two weeks the employer will determine if they want to keep me and I determine if I want to stay.
My dilemma: I like the auditing job but do not see strong long-term potential. I could see myself working in this job for maybe a couple of years and then trying to move on to something else. I would like to work in a capacity within a company as an analyst or in accounting; somewhere I can use my strengths to help with financial decision making for a company. I am working with my agency to determine if we can find a fit elsewhere that would better fit my long-term goals. Would you recommend I continue with this job for a few years, get the experience, and see where that takes me or should I make a change now while I am young and pursue something that I may find more passion for? Thanks in advance!
PS. I think my decision is pretty obvious but I would like your advice to help justify my thoughts.
