    I think that's true, but realize that the differences may be tiny.

    For example, Vanguard's Total Stock Market Index is 0.18%.
    Vanguard's Total Bond Market Index is 0.22%.
    So a difference of 0.04% which is $4/year for every $10,000 invested.
