Divorce settlement alternatives?

I've been married 32 years and have not worked in the past ten years. I filed for divorce and my husband is hell bent not giving me any maintenance (I live in Colorado.) ...... He took a loan out of our house and put it in his business and forged my name on the loan document..

First, did you cook for him? clean for him? run the house?? Then you did indeed work. Maybe not outside the house, but you did work.

Second, my ex also forged my name. To forge it on a bank paper is federal offense of forgery. You need to press charges. Once he sees a prison term possibly staring at him, he may quickly change his mind on a few things. Mine sure did, and he still ended up doing 3 years for the forgery in a federal pen.
