When you pull your credit report, from one of the 3 companies, using this site, is it supposed to give you your credit score? Or do you need to do one of the paid ones for that?

    Thanks!

You need to pay to get your score. Go to myfico.com for that.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

No, but you can purchase your credit score(s) when you request your free annual credit report(s) through that site.

(Note: I did this once myself and, even though the system came back and told me that it could not provide my credit score at the time, I was still charged for it. Hopefully, that was a fluke or they have improved the service since then.)

Note that you can now only purchase your report and score for TransUnion and/or Equifax through myFICO.

For your Experian score, you have to go to their web site.

Don't be fooled by the big button for a free report and score; there is a product listed under that, which offers your report and score for $15.
