  • Emergency/Savings for August already took a hit

    some venting

In Jun I had 600 in unexpected...
500 deductible for repairs to my car due to a crash
    100 ER copayment for me

    For July..
$175 extra medical exopenses for mom
$80 I got a speeding ticket.... I felt so stupid about it, but now I am careful, get up a little earlier and , hey, if I am late I am late. But I felt irresponsible causing an expense caused by my own stupidness. Ticket clinic should be able to take care of that for $80. (Instead of 200).

    So, for August $300 of savings - (175+80) = 255, left 45...

Hey think of it this way, at least you had an emergency fund to pay for these unexpected costs! Keep building it up.

Wait, why did you pay for your mom's medical expenses, does she live with you and you take care of her?

Have you figured out how you can recoup these cost yet? A budget that shows you where you're headed can help you identify how you can cut upcoming expenses so you can replenish your emergency fund.

Hi, yes, my budget and mom situation is explained here:

I am improving in all areas and yes, my mom is my responsibility.

Anonymous, you are right, bright side, I didn't have to use credit to cover any of this as I did last month $600, ouchy.
