how will the sale of wamu affect those holding their credit cards? I probably wouldn't thought twice but they were interviewing people on the news yesterday and this one lady who had all accts with them was all upset but i came into it halfway thru so it didn't make sense to me. I am thinking as a credit card holder only on good terms that i probably don't have to worry or do i?

Unless I am missing something, I don't imagine that any Wamu customers should have anything to worry about, whether deposit, loan, or credit card accounts. All accounts will merely be transferred to Chase. They will probably issue you a Chase-branded credit card eventually.

There may be some sorting to look for troublesome credit card accounts, but even most of these will probably be issued new cards, though with unfavorable terms.

I believe that wamu customers will hardly be affected. They should not be worry for anything.
