  • priceprotectr.com watches price reductions

I did not realize how often Amazon.Com reduces prices for products they sell. I made six purchases over the past month through Amazon including groceries, diaper, and console game. I like Amazon as they have free shipping (as I am prime member) and they have excellent service. Also, I can save on time and gas for practically all items, except for perishables. Of six, three items had prices reduced. With Amazon's post purchase price guarantee, they will refund price difference if price is reduced within 30 days of purchase. I received refund so far of about $20.

I found a great free website that keeps track of purchases made and keeps track of prices. Once set up, Pricepoectr notifies by email of price reductions, not just from Amazon, but from dozens of websites. I am not affiliated with the website but wanted to members to check out the site.

    I use a better website 3deals.com

Yes, Amazon's rather secret 30 days price guarantee has saved me literally hundreds of dollars last year because I am a frequent Amazon shopper. (Amazon is definitely the #1 online shopping site!)

I have used priceprotector in the past, but then I found a better site for Amazon shopping/refund. There is a great but rather hidden website 3deals.com ( Click here for the directly link for their Amazon Refund function ). What I like the most about this site is it shows you the price history of the Amazon.com item that you want to subscribe the refund alert. Also their instruction on getting the refund is simple (they have the simple link to Amazon customer service and the e-mail to Amazon customer service is written for you)

Speaking of the site, yesterday I have just received their price drop notification for the Oral-B toothbrush I bought last week, so I got the $9 refund while only spending 1 minute of my time!

Also, this website is very good if you haven't bought the item yet, but just want to do some price research. I use it to check the price history of the Amazon items, since their database contains 2 years of price history. They also pick out some daily price dropped items from Amazon.com. Super useful site if you are a frequent Amazon.com shopper!
