My friend as a positive credit history for about 3 year. for 3 years i has been paying is credit card on time and he said if he put me as an authorizer user then that would reflect on my account and improve my score.

Is that true?

Do not put anyone on your accounts. How the account is paid is what counts, not who is on as an user. If you put your friend on, he will max your card out and leave you hanging.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are saying here. Have you been paying your friend's CC on time for the last three years? Are you paying someone else's debt?

Not anymore. Authorized users are not counted towards your credit scores.
