This year my financial has been to save aggressively up to 50% of my annual salary. I have been well on track so far and I was also helped by hefty tax refund I recently received.
So far this is an overall breakdown of my savings portfolio -
Retirement Savings (401K, IRA) - 30%
Investments (Land, MF, ESPP) - 40%
Cash - 30%
Breakdown of my investments portfolio -
Short Term (less than 1 year) - 15%
Long Term (greater than 10 years) - 85%
What do you guys think of this so far?
I am looking to increase my short term investment % by reducing cash %. What are the best options available out there other than fixed deposits?
I do not have any debt and not buying a home or a car in next 2-3 years.
I appreciate and welcome any suggestions.
