Just ordered $100 reward check from Chase

For the first 3 months of the year, my Chase AOL Visa had a promotion to get 5x reward points for gas, groceries and dining. Since those are 3 things we charge regularly, I jumped at that offer. I got my statement today and in addition to our regular points, I earned 4,615 bonus points. That brought my point total to over 11,000.

I just logged on and used 10,000 points to order a $100 check.

Best part is they extended that same bonus offer for April, May and June so I should be able to get close to, or over, another 10,000 by the end of June which would get me another $100.

Gotta love those credit card rewards.

Steve, my chase reward card gives me 3% back on home building materials. I have gotten back $300 in checks since the first of January!!

I just hit the $20 mark on my Discover card cash back. I haven't been using the cards for the rewards as much as I used to. I'm using my debit card more now.

My wife and I have been Chase customers for 2 or 3 years now. We get somewhere between $300 and $500 back per year.

It's a beautiful thing.
