  • Spending Plan

I would like some people to check out this Spending Plan. I have attached two files one is Microsoft Excel and the other is Open Office. If you don't have Excel and would like a great FREE office program OpenOffice.org is a great free Office Suite.

Anyway this is baised on a ZERO baised Budget that Dave Ramsey preaches. I have been using this budget and I want to share it with many others it has helped me greatly and I hope it helps many many more.

I am open for any sugestions and would love to hear some feedback on the set up and if you like the file or not.

    Cheers,
    Joe

I actually figured out how attachments work a little while ago... if you go to the forum (like the 'Personal Finance' forum) that lists all of the boards in the forum, you'll see a little paperclip on the far right of the board's title. Click that and you'll see the files.

I've also started using a zero-based budget (using Excel), after having read Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. I have my February, March and April budgets on my blog, if you're interested. I'm finding this type of budget to be very helpful for me, especially when I send the money to the various recipients (even if that's just a sub-savings-account) in the beginning of the month. If the money's not there in my account, I won't spend it on frivolous items. . . .
