I need some TAX advice regarding ( 401k, IRA etc ) , mortgage . Would like to discuss them with the CPA, could any one have a good reference for CPA in New York city, White plains etc ?

Yeah I don't know any one in New York. BUT good luck finding a CPA before april 15th. If you don't need one before the 15th I would wait. Any good CPA is too busy to deal with a new client right now.Originally posted by sweeps View PostWhat are we, chopped livah?

As MonkeyMama might point out, CPAs are "too busy" for the average Joe. Be prepared to get the cold shoulder.
Likewise, you are unlikely to find a CPA anyway without a referral. CPAs are too busy for anyone right now. It's not an average joe thing. It's a too many clients/not enough CPAs thing. So it's good you are asking for a referral. I don't know any CPAs around here that see new clients unless they were referred by a current client/friend. Just a heads up.
