Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to learn more about financial investing (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, etc.)? I am not looking for a get rich quick scheme, because I truly don't believe they exist, but a way to increase my knowledge about investing so that I can more disciplined and knowledgeable choices with my 401K, IRA's etc. Also, has anyone had any experiences with "The Motley Fool" products? If so, what was your experience?

I haven't bought and tried the Motley Fool products, but their website is a great resource for basic financial planning. You'll pick up a lot of basic info just by surfing. They also have an NPR radio show.

    I also like

I really like the www.fool.com as a good basic info. Having a basic understanding of all of these terms puts you one step ahead of the gang.

I started a personal finance blog back in October. On my blog, there are links to lots of other blogs. You might want to check them out too.

          JLP

A personal finance blog dedicated discussing such topics as budgeting, asset allocation, 401K, IRA, cash flow, insurance, financial planning, portfolio management, and other areas in personal finance.

PS - If there is anything specific that you would like to learn about, let me know and I'll see about covering it.
