I hope you don't live in Oklahoma without an air conditioner.

For what it's worth, I like cars that are reliable, affordable, and have good gas mileage. My Toyota Corolla is about right.

I drive a Chrysler minivan and we don't have kids. We like the fact there is room to put stuff, can put the seats down or up whatever the need be. Guess it says I'm boring...especially since some manufacturers are no longer making minivans.

a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. It's a nice car with good features and a 100,000 mile warranty. I got it brand new for less than $11,000. I couldn't beat it.

Right until last year one of our cars was a 1993 Geo Metro hatchback(stick shift to boot) We filled it up with gas once a month!!! Lots of cargo space, if you put the backseat down. The other is 2003 Toyota Corolla that we bought new. Replaced the Geo with 2000 Honda Accord. Guess you can say that we are big on reliability and mileage.

I like sporty cars. The fact that the speedometer goes over 200 mph doesn't matter to me; I never drive over 50 mph.

2002.5 Mazda Protege5. Fun to drive (manual, sunroof), can carry most of what I own, great on gas, cheap to insure, and I can still take it to the occasional autocross events . . . and I snagged it for $4k under book value.

My 1999 Honda Civic has just under 40,000 miles on it. I keep it in a garage and it still looks good. My car says that like Steve said above, I'm not a car person. Some people think that cars define who they are and I so totally disagree with that.

It says that I'm a frugal person and that's just fine with me.

I agree with Broken Arrow about reliability, good gas mileage and that it gets me from A-Z. I still love my little car and maintenance is key to any car.

I drive a 2003 Corolla, and I don't really care what anyone might think about what I drive. I drive reliable, economical cars - that's all I care about (if it happens to look good that's nice too).

My car is a city bus, the lightrail or my own two legs! I've had three cars: a 1983 Chevy Citation, a 1988 Mustang and a 1986 Chevy Suburban, all gifts or loans from my dad. I gave him back the Suburban when I was 26 and I've been car-free and loving it for 7 years. I rent a car or take a taxi once or twice a year. My husband loves it too--he had a sales job in England and logged thousands and thousands of miles of driving every year. It costs a little more to live in a city but we more than make up for it with no car loan, gas, insurance, tags, repairs, parking tickets, or anything else. And our bus cards are either completely paid for by work or paid for pretax from our paychecks. Plus we rent our parking space out for $75/month.

What does this say about me? Patient, cheapskate, green-minded and childless. :-)

I walk almost everywhere. I wonder what that makes me...

Other than that I use my bike or bus to get around.

I like luxury cars. I drive a 2004 Infiniti FX35, fully loaded, with premium sound, sport package, navigation, rear view camera and 20" chrome rims. It cost me $45K, and I don't regret getting it. It's not gas-efficient (~15 miles per gallon), but I live close to my work, so I only have 21K miles after 4 years. I fill it up just once a month.

That's a pretty bold statement for these forums However, I've appreciated that vehicle's style ever since it came out. Nice choice!
