  • What's your credit score?

I don't know my latest FICO score, but I tried a couple of free ones with Prosper and CreditKarma which I suppose are good indicators of where I stand. I am on a highest grade AA with Prosper and 853 with CreditKarma. (0-950 scale).

Try this: The FICO® Score Estimator

It will give you about a 50 point range, but it is more usefull than those silly "FAKO" scores you listed.

about 750 on all 3 reports. My only negative was length of credit since I've only had a CC for 4 years.

We just financed the house, so I know ours. I was 740ish and my wife was 765 or so. I am going to have to take this up with her b/c she actually is the one that pays the bills, etc... So, how I am down and am the one with the job and she has no income, I don't know. Heck, I remember a few years ago when we were engaged and getting a car, it was better if I handled the whole thing b/c she didn't have that much credit.

                Back in May mine were:
                Equifax 655
                Experian 697
                Transunion 724

What hurt me so bad is my lack of history. But this comes with time. I will be checking again in May with myFICO - FICO Credit Scores | Get a Free Credit Report Online . They cost about $40 at the time but I liked it.

This year I am hoping all three scores will be 725 to 750. I keep everything in good order, we will see.

My current score is 764, which is pretty good considering:

                    1. I opened 4 new credit cards in the last 4 months.
                    2. I owe over $135K total on multiple cards.
                    3. On 3 cards I am using over 90% of available credit line.

2 months ago my score was 771, so it looks like it didn't go down too much. I expected more of a hit.

720ish but that is only because I am too young to have built up a higher score.

Hey thanks for that it said mine is somewhere between 765-815. I figured it was good always wanted to know but just never gotten around to ordering it.

What is the best way of checking the credit score ? I know there are free offers but involve hassles like opening a new account etc.

                              Thanks
