Haven't logged on in about 8 weeks but wanted my peers to know that I am slowly conquering my debts. Since June, I've managed to create a $1200 emergency fund, and pay down my total debt (excl. mortgage) from $74,000 down to $66,000.00. I've also managed to pay cash for $500 in car improvements, a small vacation for my family and buy a new outfit. It feels so good!
I still have a lot of debt but I'm am a woman on a mission. I am using Dave Ramsey's snowball approach and someday I am going to report that the debt is paid off. It may take 3-4 years but I'm making progress.
To those who have been my cheerleaders, "Thank you"!. To those who have a simlar situation, try Ramsey's approach, pray to God, and keep the faith! If the Red Sox can get to the World Serious 2x in 3 years then I we can conquer our debt.
Take Care,
