Help Pick Amex Blue or Blue Cash

hello, i can't decide whether i want Amex Blue or Amex Blue Cash. Amex Blue gives rewards points but Amex Blue Cash give cash back. How are the Rewards on the Blue card? I will most likely use Amex for electronic purchase because of their perks. Can anyone point me to the right direction?

Amex Blue is pretty basic. 1 point per dollar.

Amex Blue Cash is a much more interesting card. You can earn up to 5% on supermarket/drugstore/gas station purchases and 1.5% on all other purchases, depending on how much you spend. (Rewards calculator) If you don't put much on credit cards, then this card might not be as useful to you.

Also keep in mind these are American Express cards, so they're not accepted everywhere.

Edited to add: Also note you only get your reward once a year. That can be a bit disappointing since other card issuers will send you a check on demand.
