The highest earning year I had made from "wages" has been $35K. My past work experience is accounting, teaching and/or casino related. Most of my accumulated wealth has come from either a real estate transaction or gains from the stock market where I have made multiple 5 and 6 figure gains from in the past.

I have told the board before my stepping stone to my current situation was from the stock Iomega in the mid 90s which proceeded to rise from $2 to $330 in a 2 year period when the company introduced the zip drive.

I'd like to have a large enough nest egg that the interests/growth is self-sustaining, and can support a comfortable lifestyle -- by the time I'm 45. That gives me 19 years.

Thanks. I'm glad to see you're finally being recognized for your hopeless optimism.
