      I agree that tax diversification is important. It's highly likely that taxes in the future will be higher than they are now.

        Wouldn't we all? I'm 38 and have:
        401k
        Roth
        Pension
        Taxable account

        And none of them are anywhere near "full"

          I only have a Roth IRA. I will become eligible for a 401(k) at work in about 5 months. I've never had one available to me before. I started investing just over a year ago, and everything's been going towards my Roth.
