Here's the story.
This lady got almost a quarter of a million pounds and spent it all on 'unwise property investments', so she asked her ex-husband to increase her monthly stipend and the court ruled in her favour.
What gets me is that they divorced in 2002, and he's now remarried with another child. He just wanted a clean break and now he has to give her more each month!
It's a shame she wasted the money - what would you do with £230,000? It's funny, I'd always thought that property was a good investment, but I guess you can be stupid there too.
