    Community,

    Posting an economics update from Bill Connerly, a local economist in Portland I follow.

    Every month or so he sends his take on the macro-economy. Figured the investors on the board would appreciate it.

    The bottom line is that inflation is up, but the economy is recovering and while covid cases are up, deaths are not. Suggesting vaccination programs are working.

    My final thought here: think positive. The US is still a great place to live, work and invest.

    I'm still seeing very long lead times at work.
    We can't source materials due to the clogs at the ports and overall shipping capacities.
    It might be another year before that normalizes.
