    <i>Tourists checking into hotels in Naples this summer are to receive an unusual gift as part of an innovative scheme to protect visitors from gangs of "Rolex-snatchers".

    Every guest will find a cheap plastic watch by their beds emblazoned with a motif of either a pizza or Mount Vesuvius.

      Like thieves aren't smart enough to know about this program.
      They are probably better at spotting fakes than a dealer. Their living depends upon always geting the real thing.

        I think thats the point, spot the fake, and can't go get the real thing..less you break into a hotel safe....


        I saw this on a movie once...actually thought it was standard for ritzy hotels when I was a kid.....
