Forbes has released their latest list of the richest people in the world. There are over 100 new billionaires (102) added to this year's list whose combined net worth reaches $2.6 trillion, up 18% since March 2005. The average net worth comes in at a cool $3.3 billion. Here are the top 10 billionaires in the world for 2006:

3. Carlos Slim Helu $30.0 Billion
4. Ingvar Kamprad $28.0 Billion
5. Lakshmi Mittal $23.5 Billion
6. Paul Allen $22.0 Billion
7. Bernard Arnault $21.5 Billion
8. Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud $20.0 Billion
9. Kenneth Thomson & family $19.6 Billion
10. Li Ka-shing $18.8 Billion
