I think I've heard of these "Payoff Parties" before, and I'm sure they've already been adequately criticized by some here on the forums as a waste of money... But no matter. Also included in this article are some good stories of a few families who paid off some serious debt ($45k-$90k), so good for them, and just figured I'd share.
