If you truly think you were sold bad gas, I think you should report it. I do not know to whom it should be reported, but the easiest thing might be to call the attorney general's office. If they are not the appropriate place, they could tell you where to report. But if you got bad gasoline, then others would have as well. Save your repair receipts and name of the dianosing mechanic and all.

Yeah they have a number I can contact in Chicago because of the BP incident in Northwest Indiana. A lot of cars suffered damage. My car is seeing the doctor on Tuesday.

Call the customer service line of the brand that you bought and report the problem.

If you were sold bad gas, you would not be the only one - there would be many, many cars affected and many of those would have stalled on or near the gas station.

Why do you think you bought bad gas?

My car is stalling. It's in the garage right now. I keep all my gas receipts BTW.

Have you called the retailer's customer service line? Do that first and then post the info that you received.
