While using general assumptions for figures, he does bring up some good points beyond the actual economic benefit that are often overlooked when discussing this topic.
From my experience i notice most companies dont even ask or care to see degrees. They say they want someone with a certain degree in the paper but when u go in for interviews in my entire life i have never once had anyone ask for it. So someone could lie and not have one.
When you think about it though its more important to have prior accomplishments than some degree that says you leanred something that is already out of date.
Sometimes it is worth it but most of the time it is not. For example you spend multiple dollars to finish your studies in aiming to have a good job afterwards but due to lack of opportunities you ended working in a field not of your expertise. So sad!
