I drive a used Civic that I paid $8.5k for. If the Prius started at $11k brand new I would buy one right now, no question.

I don't think I'd drive a Prius at any price. They are too hard to work on, and the gasoline engine is a dog.

I am not against these types of vehicles, and I think that a Prius is perfect for urban driving or long commuting, but for someone like me that lives in a rural area, enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing, a Prius is just inadequate for my needs.
