This obviously isn't news to anyone, but simply an article I saw that talks about the miserably low rates generally available on cash savings.

The story does list a couple accounts that are still offering decent rates (if, of course, you meet a laundry list of requirements). They also discuss my personal choice for cash right now, I-Bonds (which do admittedly have a different set of strings attached).
