Thanks for sharing. I have come up with some ideas on saving money at the grocery store, myself. There are so many different ways you can cut your costs -- not only with coupons!

I really like #6 - I almost never go to the internal aisles any more unless I am looking for something specific. We cook all our food from scratch and shop like the French, we buy what we are going to prepare on the way home. Uh, mostly - we also buy 1/16th of a cow each year from a Mennonite farmer who is restoring his land to its original state but since buffalo are a bit much he is using cattle for that piece of the ecosystem.

I would add to start with a list and stick to it. The list comes from creating weekly menus. It is one of the best ways to control your spending.
