love mine. I got 3 teenagers and when i had the 40 gal one we had to have a strict shower schedule. ok now you got one with random sports team practices and another with a job and is not always home at her "shower time" it gets to be a real headache. I couldn't get a bigger water heater because my basement is too short.

    So I love mine.

        Oh drat

and My English Husband had me just about talked into one.
But I must admit, I don't like the idea of a big tank of water waiting to have the bottom drop out of it any time!
Our tank water heater is now 17 years old, and I'm just waiting for disaster....

Having a "tank" hot water system that costs pennies to run, I personally wouldn't waste my money on a tankless hot water system.

Have came to the same conclusion with other "energy saving" products. I suppose it has been interesting owning an "energy efficient" home, but having bought it from a builder who wasn't going to put more money than necessary into it. My perspective on most of this stuff is, "there's a lot cheaper products out there that will essentially cost the same to run."

it all depends mine is a convenience .... with all these teenagers i cant deal with a 40 gal. I do save on my utilities not sure how much is to attribute to the tankless heater because i got a bunch of other effiencey improvements at the same time.
