  • Middle class malaise isn't just here-- it's in Europe too.

This article grabbed my attention. Seems like the European middle class is feeling the pinch, too. Only, interestingly, many of them say it's time for civil unrest. No one here has mentioned that!

The only problem in Europe is what affect will a revolt have there. No one can own a gun.

The reason why we don't revolt here is because our political system has achieved its ultimate objective. It has turned the voter into someone who is either A) apathetic (dumbed down) or B) gullible to our political system to fixing things when they are the problem thanks to political bribes.

As long as we continue to vote for the same political parties nothing will likely ever change.

When the average CEO in 1980 made 40X the average wage and now its 433 times according to a piece I saw on CNBC today you know the populous has been had.

...and yet the sheeple in my locale keep voting tax increases and building 'community projects' that no one later fills or uses!

Hello local people with big salaries, some of us 'little' peeps can't afford your community largese anymore!! You want a community center? Donate the money. Keep your pesky 'tax' paws out of my wallet!
