  • New SavingAdvice.com Grocery Calculator

If you haven't yet been to the Calculators section of SavingAdvice.com you should take a look now! Although small at the moment, we will be building up this section over the next few months with helpful money saving calculators.

Our newest edition is the Grocery Calculator which was suggested by a SavingAdvice.com visitor. (If you have calculator suggestions, please let us know at info@savingadvice.com.)

The Grocery Calculator lets you compare several similiar products to find which is the best deal. For example, pretend you go shopping for kids cerial and notice there are 2 kinds that are almost identical. One is a name brand for $4.95 per box, 12 ounces and the other is a bag, no-name brand, 1 lbs, for $5.95. Do you know which is the better deal?

How about a calculator that shows how paying extra towards one's mortgage each month/each year pays it off exponentially faster? kwim?
