  • Who gets the fortune found in house walls?

    A contractor finds $2.7 million in the walls of a house he is renovating... and he wants it all. Is it his to keep?

    of course the contractor keeps what he finds

    If have a guy cleaning my carpet and he finds my vault and bust it open certainly he gets to keep the deed to my house and my grandmothers pearls,finders keepers ya know

      That's ridiculous. Anything found in the home belongs to the homeowner.

        LOL! Funny

        I might give the contractor a raise, but whoever owns the house keeps the money. (But if he tried this to my house, I sure wouldn't even think about that, though.

          i would give an honest person 100k for finding it for me... but dang. i wouldnt give that stingy contractor a dime! thats so stupid.... its the home owners house and the homeowners walls - it wasnt like he was walking on the beach with a metal detector!
