  • Credit Triggers - Are You Aware Of Them?

I just heard a piece on NPR about Experian selling your credit history to collection agencies. They constantly monitor your credit activity and if you start to pay off your credit and are getting back on your feet, they notify the collection hounds and let them have at you. This sounded pretty damn wrong to me so I got on Google and found out some more about this.

Daily Kos: Have you heard of Credit Triggers?   You should.

I think that the public has too much access to our private information. My other beef is with people not getting insurance or a good rate because of their bad credit. No offense, but some people are overwhelmed with medical bills.

I agree... thats why I think all loans should have some form of manual underwriting to determine the specific circumstances of why a credit report says what it says.

the world is getting crazier, whats your credit history got to do with your health? as long as you can pay for the insurance you should be able to get it.
