    I Quit

I quit my full time job last Thursday, this is the 3rd time I quit a job over the period of two years. The thought of enough is enough was running on my mind so strong that I have to leave my last job, even though I know my chance of surviving is pretty low.

But I just want to try something out, something different. And be different rather than a cubicle slave working so hard so that one day the the boss will like me. I'm a big fan of James Alutcher, so I think of 10 ideas everyday and write down three thing I'm gratitude for. I believe his ideas of there is an alternatives of getting your bills paid than the conventional path of working for a job.

I do see lots of opportunities out there especially in the Internet in area like online teaching, and I won't be surprise in the coming years there'll be more and more news reporting individual making 6 figures by teaching online.

I don't mean their 6 figures is doable by the average, but I do think that by putting serious hours into constant learning and creating Ecourses and with good marketing skills. One can makes a good living out of it. The best is that you don't require any capital at all except your time to create an income machine, of course you do need an very active effort.

And the big different between these and job is this, you get to learn even more things and you are not using your hours for dollars.

    Blogging

I have a personal finance and investment blog, it was created 4 months ago. I managed to get my blog featured in a blog aggregation web hence getting traffic isn't an issue, but the issue is that it is very dependent on the aggregation for its traffic. And the audience on that aggregation isn't very large. So I have to think and work on a different way to get larger traffic.

I've been reading anything that I can find on blogging. From the basic blogging tips to problogger web. In the end I settled with Jon Morrow and copybloggers materials, which i'm convinced that it will work.

Ever since last Thursday to now, I haven't blogged a single thing. I'm crafting a huge roundup post introducing all the financial bloggers in my country and the list is pretty huge, and the same time I'm working on getting guest posting approval. I believe this blog post will going to attract a very huge and largely new audience, not just the benefit to me but to the blogosphere in my field.

    Fighting for yourself

We work 8 hours a day, 4 hours doing things that are being told, 2 hours doing real job and the remaining 2 hours doing things that can satisfied our boss so that maybe one day he can press the SHARE button during his meeting.

And I say enough is enough I will work 16 hours a day doing thing that create true value. No more corporate cultural bull**** and boss satisfying tasks. We have come a long way from collage to university then to workforce, all these years should have trained ourself to be able to survive without getting a job.

If we can't, then what have we really learnt over the past 10 years? To be able to get paid in the job market but not real market. That doesn't make any sense at all after we got so much of education. And these is happening everywhere.

The problem is that we are learnt to sit still in the classroom so that we are trained so much to do so in our office desk, and we get paid by it if we continue to do the same. when a crisis hit the desk is no longer there, ones will never know what to do at all since all these years he merely accumulated with office desk knowledge.

I think we can be different by choosing ourself and fight for our ideas, of course that alone isn't enough. Any ideas must have some form of business plan in its core, without that any ideas won't able to put bread on your table. We are really blessed right now there is this thing call internet - a place where you can create something out of nothing, or at a very low cost.

I'm fighting hard for myself right now, and believe you do the same. See you!

    Hi GiraffeValue,
I'm pretty keen to hear more about that blog aggregation that's driving traffic to your site. Where did you get featured and how?
