  • Need to choose my own stock portfolio for my pension - Please help

    I need to choose a set of funds in which I can allocate my pension contributions. Can you guys please give me some suggestions on which ones and at what percentage I should choose? I am 29.

    As an investor that doesn't want to worry so much about rebalancing, I would put 100% of the contribution into this one fund:

    If you want to take a more active role, you will need to develop your own risk tolerance and asset allocation plan, but if you don't want the hands on approach, you would be well served with that one low cost, indexed, target date fund.

      Google for "bogleheads three fund portfolio" and see if you can replicate it with your funds. That's what I did for my 401k.
      Just make sure to choose the passive index funds from your options!
