    Re: PieceofCake's 2006 Challenge

Tried some yarn bargain hunting (to get up some crochet inventory) and ended up finding 11 cents in the parking lot instead.

Another patch test starts this week, I hope it pays more than $100. My temp job finishes this month, so I really need to find some real money soon.

    Total of $20 spent: $10.16

Total towards goal: 35 cents found
    2.20 rebate
    16.50 lottery
    100.00 patch test
    Total: $119.05

      Re: PieceofCake's 2006 Challenge

A nickel came in the mail yesterday--junk mail, so I'm adding that to my found money. DH won $4 in the lottery, so gave me half, plus $3 because he felt like it LOL. So, I'm adding $5 to the lottery total. I started another patch test today. It pays $100, and goes to March, so that's when I'll get the check.

I'm still crocheting, but need some yarn to complete one of the sweaters. I really need to get something finished so I can meet with the person who wants to buy some baby items. So little time in the day...

      Total of $20 spent: $10.16

Total towards goal: 40 cents found
      2.20 rebate
      21.50 lottery
      100.00 patch test
      Total: $124.10

Found two pennies yesterday, one outside the closed cafeteria on my way out the door and one in the parking lot. I also sent away for $10.93 from a survery forum I belong to--I'll add that if it ever shows up. Crocheting away (and falling asleep, so not getting much done)

I had one of the surveys send me an email, so I can forward the information to you as soon as I get it. I think all I need is your name and your email address to do it. I have (in my stash) 3 gifts for my grandchildren for next Christmas from surveys and am expecting cash from two other ones. I also have a $50 gift card for Macy's and a $10 Walmart card from another. I can send you a few, if you like.

              Re: PieceofCake's 2006 Challenge

I did some grocery shopping for my DMIL today and she overpaid me by 2 cents, so I'm adding that under "found". DH won the lottery twice and gave me half, so I'm adding $8 to the lottery line. DMIL also gave DH $20, for all his help, and he gave me half, so I'll add $10 to the found line also.

              Total of $20 spent: $10.16

              Total towards goal:
              $10.44 cents found
              2.20 rebate
              29.50 lottery
              100.00 patch test
              Total: $141.14

DH won $8 in the lottery, so he gave me half plus $1. Adding $5 to the lottery line.

I also received a check for $5 for doing surveys. I guess I'll start a seperate line for that.
