The Sunday paper is worth every dime, however most of my large coupons come from the Thursday and Friday papers. This is where I'm finding all my 20% coupons for the department stores.

      Starting: $313.46
      Ending: $337.86

Report: We had to run out and buy a few things this weekend. I saved another 20% at the department store (Thursday's coupon) for $2. Another 20% for cosmetics and a buy 2 get one (Sunday's paper) for $9.40. Then for dinner it was buy 1 get 1 (Sunday's paper) for $13.

I'm no where near the $5000, and I doubt I will reach it by the end of the year. It is nice to see my newspaper subscription paying off even if I don't read it everyday.

I've sold a couple of books and cds on Amazon, but I won't include those this time. It's only been $6-7/month and I can't remember exactly. I'd have to find something more profitable if I wanted to reach the $5000 mark. I should check into doing something like.Bluezy's Challenge

It really is nice seeing what everyone else is doing.

Report: +33.16. Well it all started out by running out of soap. Last year sometime, I made a bunch of soap, the melt'n pour variety. It worked out great and I had plenty of soap and some for gifts. Well it finally ran out. I was on my final bar and desperately looking for a sale. Thank you Hobby Lobby. I about to break down and buy a bar to hold me out when there was a 1/2 off sale. So I stocked up on everything. I bought 8lbs of soap, 4 new scents, apricot scrub, and 2 new molds. I played chef and made some this past weekend and it turned out great. This will last me a long time. I only made 13 bars and barely scraped my stock. I'll have to practice for Christmas.

This should actually count for more than $33.16. so far I've made 13 bars times $3/bar in the store. about $40 saved...nice

I haven't done much shopping lately. Not even grocery shopping, so not much change lately.

+$18.88 Quick note. It's been a while since I've written. I have been doing some shopping but mostly just the basics, my fridge looks bare and all of Jeffery's post on food look really really good. I did use a few coupons for just a few dollars. I can't remember enough to note it. However I did receive a coupon in the mail for $5 off groceries. I ended up buying about $36 worth. I gave him the coupon and some how he managed to swipe it twice. I think he did it because I was just being nice and joking with him.

$5.52 came from a card. I made a donation to Chicago radio and they gave me a card that I can use for buy one get one deals. Well we went for ice cream. Yes it really was $5.52 for one person! Really really really good ice cream.

One more. I went out to lunch with a buy 1 get 1. Another $3.36 saved. I also forwarded it to other people, but I don't know how often they've gone.

So that's the latest details. I did save $5 for my mom. When she buys the turkey, it'll save her $5.

I have receive a coupon for $15 for black friday. no minimum restrictions!!!

Report: +25.77. Oh I surpassed the $400 mark. Now for the report. I did some after Thanksgiving shopping with a few extra coupons and saved $24.20 off the Door Busters. Then on Sunday I broke down and got a 2ft Christmas tree. I got it on sale for 1.57 off the normal price of $5.

I've gotten a portion of my Christmas shopping down too. So not too bad. I need to go return a few things I bought that were more expensive.
