I just spent ~ 45 minutes writing a lengthy blog post. When i clicked save and add images it made me log in again and now the post is no where to be found. I'm hoping it's in the drafts but I don't know how to access blog drafts. Can anyone help me?

    Hmmm,

I don't see it. I'll have Nate take a look and see if he can find out what happened.

Well, I have noticed a few times when there was lag and it took a few minutes before the responsiveness returned. That's an issue with the service provider though, not with this site.

Unfortunately, if you were trying to upload a blog post right when this is happening, then your entry would not have been saved to the website. And with the way these forms work, sometimes you will even lose that information on your computer as well.

If you are planning on writing out a lengthy entry, I highly recommend to use your own text editor first. Not only will it ensure you from losing your entry, but you can write more comfortably with a much biggest text box.

Once you are done, you just select all, copy, and paste it into your blog entry box. If the website (the connection to the server) is hanging with no response, be sure you have your local copy saved on your text editor, wait about 15 minutes, then come back and try again.

I second what BA said. I generally compose an entry in my email program and save it as a draft there. Later I can post it to the blog and don't run the risk of losing it.
