Blogging Contest 5/16 - 5/22: Common Myths About

We are making a small change at the suggestion of a couple of bloggers. The contest will now be weekly instead of bi-weekly. The prize amonts will change a bit:

First: $10
Second: $10
Third: $5

These prize figures are lower than the previous contests, but there will be double the number of prizes given since it will be held weekly so the amount given away comes to the same. We will give this a try for a few weeks and then let you vote which style (weekly or bi-weekly) you like the best.

The next blogging contest theme is "Common myths about" - simply begin the title of your post with this phrase to enter the contest.

If you have noticed myths that other hold in a certain area, here is your chance to express it and teach others about those myths. They can be on any subject, but should tie in to money or finances in some way if possible.

I think you are likely to get more entries if you run the contest for 2 weeks. We all lead busy lives and writing a good contest entry can take some thought, even some research. See how it works, but I think I'd prefer a 2-week schedule.
