    1) View only the summary of each entry on the blog home pages.

You can now choose whether to see the entire entry or just a summary (the first paragraph or so) of entries on a blog home page. By default, this is set to Summary (which is different than you are probably used to). You can change this in your control panel, under settings, Viewing Preferences.

    2) Add a photo to your biography on your sidebar

You can now add a photo to your sidebar. It will show up to the right of your biography. This option is in your control panel, under settings, Author Info.

    3) New: Widgets

We've added a new section in the control panel called Widgets. Widgets allow you to add additional functionality and features to your blog. We'll add more widgets here as time goes on.

I wonder if you could help... I wanted to see the full entry on all the blogs, and so chose that option in my settings. On some blogs, I get the full entry and some I get the summary. So is it how I set the setting, or is it up to the blog author to set it the way s/he wants? Thank you!

          LittleGopher:

i'm pretty sure it's up to the blog author, not the blog reader, whether or not a blog shows the summary or full post.

Thank you, Tina, that answers my question! And thank you, Baselle - your blog was one of the ones I could see the 'full' entry. I have mine set that way too.
